We indulged in mimosas, olallieberry scones with Devonshire cream, British Bangers omelet & country potatoes...YUM! We then went into brief food comas & went about our day! Oh yeah, the picture is of the flags hanging in the restaurant!

  We are shooting a short film titled "Scraps" in October and we need all the help we can get in every way possible. First of all, we are casting in the Sacramento area on August 20th. We are looking for numerous actors of all ages, types and ethnicities. If you know of someone who might be interested in this, please pass this link on. She makes connections that others her age wouldn’t. (This character is also the NARRATOR. *Must be available for vocal recording sessions on weekends after shoot*).

  Maggie (at age 10), female, ages 9-11 years, Caucasian or tan, brunette with hazel or brown eyes, slender.

  Nadine, female, 13-15 years, Caucasian/ tan, slender or medium build, brunette with brown or hazel eyes. She’s a slightly naïve, kind, and loyal friend to Maggie.

  Sister Ann Marie, female, short, any ethnicity, 40-60 years, Caucasian or tan, any hair and eye color, medium build. She’s the stern but compassionate principal at Maggie’s school.

  Part of this film will be presented in a slideshow motif. In order to accomplish this, we need to construct fake family portraits of the main character’s various foster families. Here are the model types we need for these portraits:

  Mother Brady, female, thirties or forties, Caucasian, any hair and eye color and build.

Technology

I was at the Moscone Center in San Francisco the past two days selling my jewelry at the International Gift Show with eight other artists associated with Spanglish Arte. While on break I thought I should sneak across the street to the Metreon to see what new fun things they had going on. Thinking that they always promote some new fun technology. Sadly, most of it was closed off due to construction! So while walking through the movie theater lobby, I snapped a quick pic of the arcade machines!

Childhood Memory

For most of my childhood, I was my school's Tiger mascot. My mom must have made me at least a half dozen different tiger costumes (starting from the age of 4 and ending around 11). The prints would vary depending on what she could find. This is one of the last ones I wore in the 5th grade.

I remember going to practice, wanting to be like the older girls. I would go to the games and do all the cheers and dance routines. One year (I think I was in the third grade) I even won the award of "Best Mascot" out of all the other 20 or so mascots! >^..^< I still carry around that award whenever I have something big going on in life as my good luck charm! I loved being that mascot...that's why I chose it as my childhood memory!

Favorite Color

RED!!!!!

I love it! From clothing, jewelry to lipstick color, my favorite color is RED!

This is a collection of my personal jewelry, along with a little tulle & a fabric flower I picked up at a craft show (I feel horrible because I can't remember the vendor I bought it from :( ). The piece that I'm most proud of is the sterling silver rose ring. I made it from scratch in jewelry class! I made the wax casting for the ring base & leaves. Gold-plated the leaves & attached the coral rose!

Clouds

This was a hard task today seeing as there was not a cloud in my sky! Needn't fret, I have a whooole BIG collection of cloud & rain related goodies (my name's Rain after all!)!!! I couldn't find everything, but here's my random collection of clouds:

(top - bottom) The cloud table cloth my mom made for me when I was just beginning to vend my jewelry. Beneath it, my fuzzy little lamb that looks like a fluffy cloud. "Tickles to Tinkles" shirt I got from Woot.com. My copper enamel sun pin (that I made in jewelry class years ago) to help set the sky. Grumpy Bear & Eeyore pins - cause let's face it, they LOVE <3 clouds! Little birdie pin I picked up at a craft show from Chic Baby Rose. And my rain confetti from GFetti. So there you have it, CLOUDS! :)

This is the outfit my family affectionately refers to my "hippy" outfit! :)

I love it, always have. I got it at Lane Bryant a few years back. I'm also happy to report that it's roomier than it ever has been! I'm actually a dress size smaller! I'm going to have to get it taken-in! I'm also wearing a Lucky Brand necklace (I know, shock! Something not made by me!), my "Dead Frida" earrings, trinket bracelet, pearl bracelet, ribbon bracelet & red Saltwater sandals (which you can't see).
