Where The Wild Things Are
I was super-excited for "Where The Wild Things Are" movie to come out in the theater! I've always loved the book...I even got it for my godson's second birthday this year! In preparation for the movie I invited a bunch of people & asked them to join in a movie-themed swap. Unfortunately/fortunately my family was the only people who could make it.

Glitter & Grunge Design Challenge #1 - A Work In Progress!
At first I wasn't sure what to make with my collection of goodies I received from Claire. After I thought about it for a while, I decided to make a corset.
I cut out the base of my corset with muslin and then set about the task of piecing the fabric together bit by bit.
Then I carefully stitched each piece of fabric & paper clippings together.
This is my result. I still have some embellishing to do. I also have to make my button holes in the back & attach my buttons for a closure. The corset is for a size 14 give or take....
