Did someone say Fried Chicken? After an amazing time at REEL GOOD NIGHT Market (They sold out almost halfway through), we are teaming up with the team atSOUTH in the Roaming Kitchenon October 6th!! Here is a little bit about South to get your tastebuds ready (As if the picture wasn't enough): South is contemporary Southern cuisine, heavy on seasonal vegetables and driven by historical inspiration. South is traditional family food, unpretentious, with no gimmicks, and no crazy science. At South we are not trying to reinvent the wheel, we are just trying to express 200 years of our family’s story on a 12” plate.
We are always excited to see different types of design come through the GOOD: street food + design market, so when floral designer Shannon Mahoney of Thistle and Honey applied to the market, we were beyond excited! Thistle and Honey sources local, seasonal, and organic products to create unexpected textural elements as well as big, beautiful blooms. And if that isn't enough reason to come, we hear she is working on some very special items (like the one in the picture above made out succulents), so be sure to visit her booth on October 6th to hear her story and check out what she is making especially for you!!
October 6th is going to be jam packed with GOOD things for everyone to experience! If you are into Midcentury mobiles and design, then you don't want to miss what we have in store. Join us as we host day two of the first vintage camper, trailer, car, and two-wheel rally in the Del Paso Design District! This two day event will run throughout Del Paso Blvd on Saturday October 5th and Sunday October 6th from 12pm-6pm There will be live music, a tiki-bar and beer garden, food trucks, and a mid-century yard sale!
