Susan J. Silvester
Susan J. Silvester is originally from the New York city area, and lived in Dallas before making her home in Sacramento. Her experiences working on TV show influenced much of her current artwork. An illustrious background includes working on Pee Wee’s Playhouse, Santa and the Snowmen (the computed animated TV movie), and the retired Back to the Future ride for Universal Studio to name a few. Thousand Bowls for the Hungry Community Outreach Exhibition
Chris Thompson’s vision for this project was to create 1,000 ceramic bowls and find artists to glaze and personalize them. Then spread them throughout the art community and sell them to raise funds for charities that feed the hungry. What you will see here is a portion of the one thousand. Gallery21TEn is one of eleven galleries participating in this exhibition. Over five hundred of the bowls are collaboration efforts; twenty-five to fifty of these bowls will be exhibited in Loft Gallery. Read more
